Vadodara also known as Baroda, is the third largest city in the Western Indian State of Gujarat and is on the list of the top ten fastest developing cities of India. With a population of 1.6 million (Census 2011), Vadodara is one of the major business centres of Gujarat. It is located to the south-east of Ahmedabad at a road distance of around 120 kilometers.
All rail and road arteries that link Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad also connect Vadodara. The domestic airport in the city provides connectivity to major Indian cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
